The Great Vajradhara and the Supreme Master of all masters, His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche turns eighty-four years old on 29th September 2003. On this auspicious occasion, the disciples of His Eminence together with the sangha will be making long life offering to His Eminence to solemnly and sincerely request His Eminence to remain in good health and long life for as deep as oceans of aeons for the benefit of all mother sentient beings.

It is with great pleasure for us to announce that the new monastery in Lumbini has been successfully completed with the kindness and support of all the sponsors. The construction of the monastery and the guesthouse is one of the great wishes of His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche. The new monastery will provide additional and comfortable ground for the hosting of the Annual Sakya Monlam and monastic studies for the monks.

In order to mark this special and auspicious occasion there will be 3-day festivities to celebrate the opening ceremony of the monastery. This will be followed by the 12th Sakya Monlam Prayer festival.
