Jetsun Kusho Kunsang Tendron, the younger sister of His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche was born 1927 at Phenpo where the Nalendra monastery was situated. Jetsun Kushola is one of the greatest woman practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism. At the age of 7 she became as a nun in Ridhing Nunnery and received training from the same teacher as His Eminence. She was an abbess of Rinding Gompa, a nunnery in Phenpo. As a hidden yogini, she is one of the few "Jetsunmas" who has stayed as a nun |

At the age of 31 she joined teacher training for two and half years in India as the first Tibetan nun who joined the training. After completing this teacher training course established by the Education Department of Tibetan government in exile, she served as a school teacher at U.P. Girls Inter College at Dehra Dun, India. After retiring from teaching, Jetsun Kushola has been spending her time in retreat since 1977 and she now lives in Lumbini.

Shabdrung Ngawang Khyenrab Rinchen Paljor Rinpoche of Jamchen Lhakhang monastery was born in 1971 in Lo-Charang, Mustang, west of Nepal, into the royal family of Mustang. Shabdrung Rinpoche's mother is the youngest daughter of the late 24th King Jampal Tenzing Dandul and late queen Kelsang Choeden, who was the elder sister of His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche. |
During a visit by His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche to Mustang, the middle son of Shabdrung Rinpoche's family was offered to take his monk hood in accordance with Tibetan tradition. However, His Eminence said Shabdrung Rinpoche, the youngest son, would be a great monk and should be ordained as a monk instead. At the age of six, Shabdrung Rinpoche was blessed by the hair cutting ceremony and was given the name Rinchen Paljor.
At the age of eight, Shabdrung Rinpoche took his novice vow with His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche in the Lumbini Monastery and was named Ngawang Rinchen Paljor. Ngawang is the first name of His Eminence. From then Shabdrung Rinpoche mastered the monastic scriptural rituals and musical accompaniment of the rituals.
In 1992, as His Eminece Chogye Trichen Rinpoche's previous Shabdrung Tenzing Thinley Rinpoche gave up his monk hood, His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche had envisioned Shabdrung Rinpoche to be his next Shabdrung. Hence Shabdrung Rinpoche was enthroned as Shabdrung Ngawang Richen Paljor. Shabdrung Rinpoche then studied under His Eminence's guidance.
In 1996, together with Gyana Vajra Rinpoche, Tulku Dorjee Denpa and Ngaglo Tulku Rinpoche, Shabdrung Rinpoche received the full bikshu ordination from His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche and His Eminence Ludhing Khenchen Rinpoche who were accompanied by some other senior bikshus.
Shabdrung Rinpoche was educated in Sakya Institute and Sakya College on major Buddhist texts and graduated from Sakya College obtaining the degree of Ka Chu Pa (Bachelor of Arts) by accomplishing the ten spiritual texts, which include the major divisions of Buddhist Philosophy.
Shabdrung Rinpoche has received major teachings and transmissions from His Holiness Sakya Trizin, His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche and His Eminence Ludhing Khenchen Rinpoche such as Lamdre empowerments, collection of tantra and sadhana. He has also conducted several meditation retreats at Lumbini Monastery, Mustang and Jamchen Lhakhang monastery under the direct guidance of His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche.
Shabdrung Rinpoche now resides in Kathmandu together with His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche in the Jamchen Lhakhang Monastery.

Shabdrung Tenzin Tsultrim Rinpoche was born in Zhalu Kushang family of Shigatse, Tibet which is a sacred lineage reputed to have produced many highly realised masters. Shabdrung Rinpoche's mother was Deden Wangmo and father was Tadring Tsewang. |

In 1993,at the age of fifteen, under the guidance of His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, Shabdrung Rinpoche joined the Nalanda Monastery in Tibet in order to preserve and protect the legacy of His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche. Thereafter, Shabdrung Rinpoche was recognised as His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche's Shabdrung.
Since then, Shabdrung Rinpoche studied Buddhist philosophy in Zongsar Institute and Buddhist dialectic school in Ngor monastery.
After leaving Tibet, Shabdrung Rinpoche has acquired the complete training on monastic arts of ritual and rites under guidance of His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche.
At present, Shabdrung Rinpoche lives in the Jamchen Lhakhang Monastery in Kathmandu where he offers his humble services to and receive profound teachings from His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche.

Namrab Dakpo Shabdrung Rinpoche was born in 1990 in Sikkim, India. In August 1999, Namrab Dakpo Shabdrung Rinpoche was recognised by His Holiness Sakya Trizin as the reincarnation of Shabdrung Rinpoche, Kelsang Gyaltsen of Namrab Dakpo Monastery. Upon this recognition, he was took the vow of Upasaka (ordained lay person) with His Holiness and was enthroned as Ngawang Kalsang Thinlay Lhundup. Later he received the novice vow from His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche and blessings from His Holiness Dalai Lama in a hair cutting ceremony. |
The previous Shabdrung Rinpoche was the head of the Namrab Dakpo Monastery which is situated near the Gongkar Airport, south of the capital city Lhasa and the Chief Abbot of the great Buddhist philosophical institute of Sangpu Lachu Manastery in Tibet.
Namrab Dakpo Shabdrung Rinpoche is now 12 years old and resides in Jamchen Lhakhang Monastery in Kathmandu where he studies daily Tibetan script, sutras, tantras and foreign languages including English and Mandarin.

Ngaglo Tulku Rinpoche was born in 1978 in a Tibetan settlement of the Indian state of Orrissa.
At the age of six, Ngaglo Tulku Rinpoche was recognised as a candidate for a reincarnated lama. From then Ngaglo continued his education until the age of eighteen when His Holiness Sakya Trizin recognised him as the reincarnation of Ngaglo Rinpoche and was enthroned accordingly at the at Sakya Centre, India. Later in the same year, His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche also blessed Ngaglo Tulku Rinpoche in an enthronement ceremony held at Jamchen Lhakhang, Kathmandu. |

Subsequently, Ngaglo Tulku Rinpoche enrolled in Sakya College, India, to receive further formal Buddhist teachings in greater depth.
At present, Ngaglo Tulku Rinpoche is in his third year of study at Sakya College.
